Thomas Markle Snr. did learn about his daughter’s pregnancy before the information was made public, but it was through his ex-wife Doria, rather than his own daughter, who has reportedly sought to distance herself from her father, for the time being at least.
The complete opposite was true for Markle himself, as one Royal Family source told The Sun the estranged father, who would soon become a grandfather, saw Meghan’s pregnancy as an opportunity to mend their broken relationship and turn over a new leaf.
