[post_page_title]Das Boot (1981)[/post_page_title]
There’s something eerily familiar with the German U-boat in this movie. If you’ve felt that, too, then it’s probably because the film did use the real U-96 submarine schematics for the models included in this film. Every single part of the ship was made to resemble real U-boat parts. As a matter of fact, that also includes the nuts and bolts. Talk about attention to detail! Because of this, Das Boot definitely gives the immersive experience of being in a real German submarine in WWII.
