A disaster. A close call. No matter what you call it, Apollo 13 is among those few movies which prides itself on both cinematics and prime attention to detail. And that’s everything in it, from the design of the ship’s crew module to the staff in the command center. It’s so more than just some silly space movie. Apollo 13 is based on the real Apollo 13 lunar mission which almost ended tragically. Good thing that the astronauts survived to tell the tale and get a cameo in a movie about them.
