This is one of those extremely divisive films that viewers either love or they hate. There’s no middle ground with Downfall. This movie, as the title suggests, depicts the downfall of Germany and Hitler’s end of life in the Battle of Berlin. And in case you’re wondering, Downfall is a true-to-life story. But with that said, it remains controversial because of how Hitler was shown as an actual person, complete with emotions. If you ask us, though, this movie just made Hitler a lot more terrifying because of that.
