[post_page_title]William the Conqueror (2015)[/post_page_title]
Most of what we know about the real William the Conqueror is based on the written words and stories about the first Norman King of England. We are not sure how real these are, since old works generally are made to emphasize favorable facts and eschew unwanted ones. The fact that it’s similar to today’s movies might be a coincidence, but we’ll be the first to admit that we don’t actually know. We aren’t historians, just film buffs. But this movie isn’t one of them. Trust us, this film sticks true to the source material.
