Whereas most WWII movies are more focused on the warfare and fighting scenes, Les Unwanted de Europa takes it in a different view. It focuses on the last moments of the late philosopher Walter Benjamin. This film focuses on the philosopher while he leaving a German-controlled France to escape to Spain. It is a sweet, and yet still somehow uncanny, movie. But this film is, without a shadow of doubt, a fantastic depiction of relatively unknown history. We strongly recommend it for both its poignant nature and its accuracy.
