Forget about James Cameron’s Titanic. While it was definitely a cinematic marvel, if you’re looking for a historically accurate depiction of the night when HMS Titanic sank, then A Night to Remember is the way to go. The only exception here would be the characters who are completely fictional. That, and the fact that the Titanic split in half while it sank (which, to be fair, wasn’t even realized until much later). But everything else, from the crew to the rescue, are historically accurate.
