After the success of his movie, The Producers, Warner Bros was keen to work with Mel Brooks again. They asked him to create a similar movie, and he came back with Blazing Saddles.
When Mel had the final cut in his hands, he set up a screening for his top executives – but they weren’t too impressed. The executives didn’t find the movie funny at all, but Brooks was confident in the film. So, he decided to show the movie to everyday workers within Warner Bros, and they all loved it!
