If you cast your mind back to the end of Blazing Saddles, you might remember Harvey Korman rushing towards the movie theater and buying a few snacks in the process.
With no real intention behind it, Mel Brooks had Harvey buy a packet of Raisinets – a decision which has since changed his life. After mentioning the chocolate-coated snack in their movie, the Raisinets company found their sales drastically increased. Because of this, the company has since sent him boxes upon boxes of the candy every single month since.
