Any filmmaker will know that you have to cut and edit your film before it makes its way into the movie theaters – and Mel Brooks was no different. However, Mel also faced demands from his executives, who asked him to remove certain scenes for their inappropriate nature.
Although he didn’t want to cut these entertaining scenes, he eventually decided to remove one specific scene from his final cut. This scene features both Sheriff Bart and Lili Von Shtupp in a rather compromising position that many would deem a little risqué.
