Angie Spadaro is Annie’s overbearing mother who visits her frequently and drives her insane. Angie is constantly moving in an out of Annie’s apartment, which really bothers her, on top of her constant criticisms. In the third season, Angie gets divorced, which gives her more free time to annoy her daughter. Don’t worry, though – while the character of Angie bothered many of the other characters who appeared on the show, the actress who played her is much less abrasive.
