Azzara started her acting career on the stage appearing in shows such as On the First Day and Lovers and Other Strangers. Azzara played Gloria in the second pilot of All in the Family when it had a different name of Those Were the Days but the role was ultimately given to Sally Struthers. Azzara is now 72 years old and has since slowed down her acting appearances.
