As Friends was also a popular show while Caroline in the City was on the air, it was inevitable that they would have a crossover episode. Chandler Bing appeared in an episode of Caroline in the City when he runs into Annie at a video store. Chandler makes a couple of failed attempts to hit on Annie and he eventually runs out of the store after embarrassing himself. Caroline runs into Joey and Chandler on friends in the episode titled, The One with the Baby on the Bus.
