Del Cassidy is Caroline’s off again, on again boyfriend and her fiancé for a brief time who is somewhat of a ladies man. Because of this, he often clouds Caroline’s judgement and gets in the way of her realizing her true love for Richard. When he isn’t hanging out with Caroline, he is working for his father’s greeting card company and as a manager for Caroline’s comic strip. Del’s father is known for making disparaging comments about him and he eventually quits working for him when he has had enough of his abuse.
