The character of Wilson Wilson, Jr., the Taylor family’s neighbor, is quite enigmatic as he is mostly hidden behind objects – mainly the fence that separates their houses.
He has a Ph.D in the field of Forgotten Languages and Cultures, and is generally very wise – which is why he is often found giving advice to the Taylors (especially Tim, who usually later misquotes him). Wilson’s entire face was only exposed for a second throughout the whole show, but was revealed in the series finale, as the cast bowed to the audience.
