Although Amanda made name for herself as an adorable comedic talent, living under public scrutiny since she was a little girl has not had the best effect on her. While she was growing up, she and her parents had always seemed close, but after accusing her father of intimate assault when she was a child, her mother refuted her daughter’s claims and declared that Amanda needed to seek treatment for emotional and mental difficulties – something that she ended up doing.
