However, fame soon began taking its toll on Lohan, who fell into substance abuse, on-set clashes, and repeated trouble with the police. Her relationship with Dina also suffered, with Lindsey stating, “I feel like a second parent in the sense that I helped raise my family […] I was put between my mother and father a lot.” Although she no longer speaks with her father, thankfully Lindsay and Dina have seemingly patched things up.
