Although a movie that warmed a number of people’s hearts, the producers took some creative liberties that didn’t reflect on the truth very well. First of all, Leigh Anna didn’t take Michael in right when she met him.
She bought him clothes, but it took months for him to officially move in to their house. In addition (and this is perhaps even worse), Michael Oher himself claims that the film dumbed down his initial football knowledge – and he wasn’t happy about this lukewarm representation.
