This film was pretty thrilling for pretty much anyone who watched it. It told the story of Captain Richard Phillips and his crew, who were sailing along the coast of Africa when they were ambushed by Somali pirates.
An inspiring moment in the film is when Captain Phillips volunteers himself to be taken hostage, in order to save his crew and ship. However, while this is certainly a touching moment, his crewmates in real life said that Phillips wasn’t such a great leader, and actually had a pretty bad reputation.
