One issue that some had with Titanic was their portrayal of William McMaster Murdoch, who panicked like crazy when turmoil began to strike in the film. But his family, as well as a fair amount of eyewitness accounts, have said that he was really quite the hero.
Aside from that, people have noted that the romance between Jack and Rose was a bit unrealistic, given the fact that they normally would’ve been separated on the ship, due to their different class levels.
