Classic films based on true stories that got certain facts wrong

Perhaps the biggest issue people have with Jobs (at least the one starring Ashton Kutcher) is that it downplays the contribution of Steve Wozniak, as well as the rest of the engineer team.

Jobs

Steve Jobs was certainly a visionary genius in more ways than one, but in order to have developed the early Apple products that were released, you needed some serious manpower in the tech department. Granted, the movie is titled “Jobs,” but even Wozniak himself felt that the script didn’t do his contributions justice.

The first problem we’ll discuss about Braveheart is that William Wallace’s love interest, Isabella, was actually three years old in real life – and therefore it could never have happened. Oh, and how about the fact that Scottish people didn’t wear kilts back in the 13th century?

Braveheart

But perhaps the worst thing that was a misfire from the film was that nickname “Braveheart” didn’t actually belong to Wallace. Indeed, it belonged to a man named Robert the Bruce.
