Pearl Harbor was an important film, and needless to say many people enjoyed it when it hit the theaters back in 2001. But there were certainly some things that were off – including the amount of Japanese planes that actually attacked Pearl Harbor.
In reality there were under five, but in the movie there are about 20 of them. In addition, there are a number of products in the movie that simply didn’t exist back then, such as rimless glasses and Marlboro Lights.
