On July 16, 2016, Steve Folck, the president of the Camden Point Fire Protection District board, had an announcement of his own. The town was so grateful to the pair that they wanted to try and return the generosity. The fire department announced that the building would be dedicated in honor of Mark and Cindy as without them it wouldn’t exist. Steve added that Mark lived his life as a private person so didn’t like to be the center of attention. However, the locals felt as though they owed him.
