Cindy explained to her daughter that no one should hold out hope that they would win; she believed that the Hills weren’t the kind of people to receive that luck. The next morning Cindy was driving her young daughter to school when she heard the news: someone in Missouri held a winning lottery ticket. It was then that Cindy knew she had to head to a local convenience store and find out the winning combination. There was still hope that she could be victorious.
