Sadly, things have taken a turn for Abby since her days on the show. The coach was sent to prison after fraudulently declaring herself bankrupt and had been living in a halfway house when she got the news she had cancer. Doctors initially believed Abby had a spinal infection. However, there is a chance she may never be able to walk again. Even so, Abby has remained close with a variety of her former students and plans on making a full comeback for season eight of Dance Moms.
