[post_page_title]Kissing bug[/post_page_title]
Kissing bugs may have a lovely name, but their bite is far from nice. In fact, they are often called assassin bugs and vampire bugs – names which are better suited to their personality. As nocturnal creatures, these bugs often find their way into homes and bite the lips of humans while they’re sleeping. Unfortunately, many of these bugs are infected with the deadly parasites that carry the Chagas disease. This is then passed onto the human and kills around 12,000 people each year.
