Considering the show was literally named after him, it’s surprising to learn Dawson Leery is kind of the worst. It’s actually almost impressive. Dawson somehow manages to both whine bout how hard his life is AND be stuck up about how much he’s better than everybody else. He’s the sort of guy who’d fix your grammar when you’re trying to tell him the house is on fire. Don’t believe us? Just ask James Van Der Beek himself, who said, “Dawson’s sweet, but he’s the kind of guy I’d find myself making excuses to not hang out with.”
