When a beloved, central character has to take a leave of absence and a new character replaces them, it’s never easy. It’s made even harder when said new character is unbearable. On a completely unrelated note, meet New Girl’s Reagan Lucas! Played by Megan Fox, most famous for comparing director Michael Bay to a certain German dictator, Reagan was a saleswoman who was opinionated (i.e. rude) and free-living (i.e. promiscuous). She replaced main character Jess, who disappeared for jury duty while Zooey Deschanel was on maternity leave, and we never wanted a trial to end so badly.
