Sometimes, the hate an actor gets isn’t even their fault. A classic case in point is Jenilee Harrison, who portrayed Cindy in two seasons of Three’s Company. Harrison joined the show immediately after – and as a direct result of – Suzanne Somers’ departure. In fact, she played the cousin of Somers’ character Chrissy. So while Chrissy was a “ditzy blonde,” Cindy was a “clumsy blonde.” Huge difference, right? Actually, they were so much the same character that producers just recycled Chrissy’s scripts and swapped her for Cindy. Fans noticed – and they were not pleased.
