Even though it’s been 40 years since All in the Family ended, we shouldn’t forget just how groundbreaking the show was. As far as sitcoms that make you think go, it was pretty much perfect. Except when it came to Stephanie Mills, in which case we mostly just thought “go away.” Stephanie, added in the show’s ninth and final season, wasn’t annoying as most child actors are. It’s just that adding a child to the mix completely threw off the adult family dynamic the show had going for so long.
