We still get a chuckle out of realizing that M*A*S*H lasted more years than the actual war that served as its backdrop. Running for 11 seasons, millions of fans followed the exploits of Captain “Hawkeye” Pierce. In season four, Hawkeye received a new foil to play off of – Captain B. J. Hunnicutt. Despite his love of practical jokes, Hunnicutt was often the straight man to Hawkeye’s general zaniness. Everything was great, until Hunnicutt started complaining about missing home at around season six – and never stopped until the show ended. Geez, guy, everyone was away from home too, okay?
