The media attention surrounding the new relationship of Diana and Dodi often became too much for the couple, so Dodi would try to get away from England and the British press as much as possible. This was the case in 1997 when Dodi whisked Diana away from her Royal duties to relax and unwind on his yacht. So, the pair made their way to the South of France to stay on Jonikal; Dodi’s 200-ft-long superyacht complete with nine cabins and a full team of staff and crew. It was all too perfect.
