During a particularly tough period with his wife, Prince Charles bumped into an old flame of his; Camilla Parker Bowles. The pair had dated briefly before Charles and Diana had met, but their relationship came to an end when Charles was sent away on Navy business. However, their paths crossed again in 1986, and Charles could not deny the chemistry that was still there between them. It was at this point that Charles started to secretly rekindle this relationship, even though he was still married to Diana.
