So if they’re not on the market, where could these other houses come from? That’s where family members and friends step in. When signing up for the show, apparently you must confirm that you have people living close that would be willing to have you tour their house as a “buyer”. As the buyers have already bought their properties, it doesn’t matter the price or state of the home. To make things awkward, it means that all the comments about the homes will eventually be seen by the family and friends who own the houses…
