We get to see a whole range of rooms on the show, but not every aspect of the house. What happens to the rooms we don’t see? Do they get forgotten about or left for the owners to fix up themselves? They are usually made over to the same standard as the rest of the house if the family have a big enough budget; the only difference is the show chooses certain rooms to makeover and will only feature those in the before and after. However, the families sometimes opt to redo the rooms when they have a bigger budget later on.
