Hannah decided to get herself tested and see if she could give her mom one of her kidneys. It was a significant risk given her condition, but nothing was going to stop her from being there for her mother.
As it turned out, she was a viable donor for Jackie, although doctors advised against her going through with the procedure. There was a chance she wouldn’t survive, but Hannah didn’t care. She knew her days were numbered anyway, and she couldn’t face losing her mom knowing she could have helped.
