Against everyone’s advice, Hannah ended up going ahead with the kidney transplant. Jackie had taken her in and never once cared that she wasn’t like her other children. That kind of unconditional love deserved to be paid back, and this was the only way Hannah knew how.
Thankfully, the procedure was a huge success, and both mother and daughter came out the other side alive. It was a big risk but one that paid off, and now Hannah wouldn’t have to worry about losing her mom too soon.
