Greg’s team rolled out a rack filled with waterproof jackets for the participants. In addition, waterproof backpacks that were filled with more goodies were handed out.
The participants were very excited at the gifts and were overwhelmed by the generosity that was shown to them that day. When it was time for everyone to leave, one of the participants went up to Greg to give him an emotional and heartfelt message.

One of the men went over to Greg and explained how the event had made him feel like, “Somebody cares.” He went on to explain that he was a Vietnam veteran who was honorably discharged and with tears in his eyes he said, “I’m not used to any affection.”
The spa day had showed him that the people around him did really care about his well-being and that they are rooting for him to succeed.
