Dr. Duncan continued on the explain how important it is for people and the workers at the shelter to acknowledge homeless people and to give them the respect they deserve. She said with love and attention, “They’ll start to believe they matter again.”

That’s where Greg Benson and his team step in. They used to directive of dignity and kindness to guide their mission. They wanted to give the visitors to Ascencia homeless shelter the love and attention they had not been receiving.
They began to transform a room into a studio of sorts where the participants would get a long list of surprises. After they were done setting up the room, they brought all of the participants in.
