In 2010 the McCaughey septuplets turned 13, and TLC decided that they would come in and make a documentary about the kids’ lives and see what was going on with them. Additionally, the Today Show’s Ann Curry also went to go check up on the kids, having been the journalist following the kids’ lives. So, TLV and Ann Curry teamed up to capture the kids’ 13th birthday. The documentary aired a few days after the kids blew out their 91 collective candles.
