On top of deciding to stay away from the alluring draw of reality television, the McCaughey family also did not let any press into their home except for really special occasions. They would have the press come every birthday until they turned 14, then once at 16 and again at 18. But since then, they have been living completely normal lives under the radar. It’s probably a lot more peaceful that way.
