Sadly, as is the case with most premies, along with the fact that there were seven embryos, not all of the children were completely healthy. There is a reason that they are the first ever septuplets to be born and survive. Nathan and Alexis were diagnosed with cerebral palsy, thereby making it difficult for them to move. However, due to the miracles of modern medicine, the children were all able to survive.
