When dogs lick their owner a lot, it’s usually a sign that they care about you. It’s pretty sweet, but when you get covered in dog saliva, it can feel a bit gross. To compensate, this dog has transferred all of its affection from its owner to the couch.
It’s not much of an alternative though because now there’s nowhere dry to sit. Maybe this is just the dog’s way of making sure that they have the couch to themselves while everyone else has to sit on the floor.
