The late Burt Reynolds was one of the most incredible actors of his time, and few will argue with this. That being said, Reynolds actually turned down many roles that could have really helped his career.
Some movies that would’ve looked very different if Reynolds hadn’t said no are One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Pretty Woman, Die Hard, and Star Wars. Also, his famous role in Boogie Nights? Yeah, he turned it down seven times before finally agreeing. He simply didn’t like the content, or the young director.
