Barbara Eden might have played a genie on the TV sitcom I Dream of Jeannie, but that sure wasn’t her only talent on the show. She was also a real life lion whisperer.
While her co-star, the late actor Larry Hagman, was terrified of approaching the creature, Eden was enthusiastic and did everything to earn the feline’s trust. Hagman wasn’t having any of it, so the lion roared a ferocious roar during the scene with the actor, while it got along fine with Eden.
