Judy Garland may have been a huge star, but she was certainly not a huge person. In fact, the actress was pretty tiny – less than 5 ft tall to be exact.
This did kind of play to her advantage though because since she was so small, she was still able to play a child in her most iconic role, even though she was 16 at the time. That’s right; Dorothy from Wizard of Oz may have only been 12 in the film, but Garland was a bit older.
