Amazingly, dwarfs were a huge part of Ancient Egyptian culture and were even said to have the ability to descend to the underworld and ascend to the sky as they pleased.
There were two types of dwarfs in Ancient Egypt, including the African dwarfs who were hired to work in the temples, and Egyptian dwarfs, who were in charge of crafting, knitting, and taking care of pets. They were typically men, but dwarf women were also a considerable part of their lives.
