Stroup appeared in several TV shows before she was cast as Joy in Iron Fist. She is best known as Erin Silver in teen drama 90210, but TV viewers may remember her role as Max Hardy in TV drama The Following. Stroup also made several appearances as Cady Hansen in supernatural drama Reaper. Stroup has bounced between TV and Hollywood movies, appearing in comedy Ted and action movie Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Her first screen appearance was on Unfabulous, a Nickelodeon show about a young girl’s experiences in middle school.
