Carrie-Anne Moss is known to many science fiction fans thanks to her appearance as Trinity in the sci-fi action movie The Matrix and the subsequent sequels. Moss has starred in a number of high profile movies including dramas such Memento, Chocolat, Disturbia, and Pompeii. Her performances in The Matrix won her plenty of accolades including the Empire Award for Best Newcomer in 1999. Her first onscreen appearance was in crime drama series Dark justice, where she played Tara McDonald.
