So, who is Ladd Drummond? Well, it seems that when Ree met her “Marlboro Man” he was the owner of a multi-generational ranch. As the co-owner of Drummond Land & Cattle Co., alongside his brother, Ladd was working on land that had been in his family for a whopping five generations. After persuading his wife to move onto the ranch and leave her vegetarian ways behind her, Ladd and Ree now raise their own children on the land, in the hopes that they will one day inherit the ranch and pass it down to their children.
